Maternity, Newborn, Family Photography
Live Photography Australia specialises in Family photography on location and maternity and newborn photography in the studio. Everyone is different and I am guided by your children. I am extremely patient and I guarantee results, sessions last 30- 90 mins depending on how many people I am photographing and their ages.
Maternity & Newborn sessions are usually photographed in the photo studio in Nowra CBD. Home visits are available on request. I suggest maternity sessions to be around 34 weeks and newborn sessions to be around 10 days old. As a guide if you want smiley photos its best to wait until your baby is 4 months old. If you want them with a sibling its best to wait until they are sitting on their own so 6-10 months is ideal.
South Coast Photographer
For family photography sessions where your youngest is 1yr or older I love to shoot on location and have a few special spots I can recommend.
I take bookings several weeks in advance. There are options to postpone if someone is sick or the weather isn’t in our favour.
I offer many display options to suit your home and budget with museum standard and archival finishes. I have packages including digital files, art prints, wall art. Credit cards accepted & payment plans available allowing you to space out payments and not miss this special time.
My aim for your family photography
Choosing a family photographer is something you only want to do once. I believe when you find the right person they should be able to document your family over the years. Getting to know your photographer and what to expect from a session makes it a little easier each time to go through the process.
The kids get more comfortable and so do you which means everyone is more relaxed and just having fun! As an added bonus your artwork and photos remain consistent. Allowing you to add to a photo wall or decorate your home with photos that work well together over the years.
Things to consider when choosing your family photographer.
Do you connect with their style ?
How long have they been photographing professionally for?
Are they experienced, educated, trained & insured?
Do they have a Working with Children Check? Are they vaccinated to work with Newborns?
Do they use professional equipment and have back ups in place?
You are trusting them with your precious memories that only happen once. Just because someone has a camera and says they are a photographer it is still up to you to ask the right questions and find out what skill level they are at to make sure you will be 100% happy with your end result.
Another thing to enquire about is what finished products they offer, quality and cost. Do they accept credit card or have payment plan options? It is always helpful if you can space out your payments over weeks or even months if needed to ensure you can capture this important milestone in your life now and not stress if you don’t have all the available funds right this minute.
When looking at products think about what you would like to pass on to your children and your grandchildren. In this digital age we are so used to having digital files but technology is changing so fast, do we really know they will still be accessible in 100 years time?
A printed photograph has already proven its worth so my advice is to always select a photographer considering everything I’ve mentioned above. Choose a photographer that will give you plenty of options to meet your requirements. One that cares and wants your family memories to last forever. Someone like me!
