Choosing a family photographer is something you only want to do once. We believe when you find the right photographer they should be able to document your family over the years. Getting to know the photographer and what to expect from a session makes it more meaningful each time you update your photos. As an added bonus your artwork and photos remain consistent on your wall. Allowing you to add to a photo wall or decorate your home with photos that work well together over the years. Our clients continue to update their family photos with us, even when they have moved further away to Canberra or Sydney. It helps that we are located near Jervis Bay, absolute paradise! Do you have a studio?
Yes. The studio is a private space with natural window light and professional studio lighting setup in Rodway Arcade, just off Junction Street in the Nowra CBD.
How soon should we book our maternity and newborn sessions?
Bookings are made 1 week – 6 months in advance so the sooner you book the better. As soon as you have an idea of timing then a date can be penciled in. Once you have decided to book us, it’s really simple! We will guide you through the process step by step.
Will you come to our home or holiday house?
Yes this can be arranged if it's within the area for an additional fee.
Can we do our photo session on a weekend?
Absolutely! Saturday’s and select Sundays are available.
Can we include our other children in the photo session?
Yes we’d love them to be included.
Do you have a working with children's permit, whooping cough & Covid 19 vaccinations?
Yes all my assistants and I have WWCC permits to work safely with your children. We are also up to date with all the necessary vaccines to work with you & your newborn
Do you offer professional framing?
Yes if you would like it all done for you and simply collect your framed images ready to hang this can be organised. There are many framing options to choose from to suit your home. Professional framing is guaranteed to make sure your prints last many generations.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Now accepting AfterPay which allows you to split your order into 4 fortnightly payments. Also offering up to 6 month payment plans with Payright. Just ask for more info.
What time should we have our photoshoot?
For Maternity, the afternoon golden hour is the best for location sessions. Otherwise during the day in the studio is beautiful light. For Newborns, it depends more on when suits you. After a feed is usually a good time to start as they will be milk drunk and we can start with sleepy shots.
What should we wear to out maternity and newborn sessions?
You do not need to all come matching or in white and denim. Neutral colours are better than strong patterns like stripes. Textures look really good so wear fabrics like wool, lace, silk, linen. I suggest placing all the clothes together to see if they work as a collection. Make sure you can move freely, bend, sit without needing to adjust the clothing. For maternity sessions bring at least 2 outfits, bring nice lingerie, swimmers, long skirts, fitted stretchy dresses, jackets or vests. For newborn sessions your baby will be mostly nude or in a nappy or a wrap. If you have any plain onesies bring those along.
How long until our photos are ready?
The the full collection is ready for you to view & order the following week. Once you have made your order, photos take 1-6 weeks depending on what you have ordered.
Do you sell digital files?
Yes digital file collections are available and many other options for prints, frames, canvas etc.
How much does it cost?
How much you spend is entirely up to you & what you love. We usually have a session fee paid upfront and then you can order your photos and collections after you have seen your images. We offer digital file packages, framed wall art, professional printing and heirloom albums. Collections starting from $550, please get in contact for a full price list.
