Congratulations, you’ve found your one true love and you’re ready to run off into the sunset together…
BUT WAIT… you want to capture it so you can look back when you’re old and grey, and then be able to smile and share with your children and grandchildren.
You know even if you lose your mind and your looks you will still have these images to remind you both of how wonderful the day felt (ok and how damn good you both looked!).
What to expect when looking for a wedding photographer
Personally I like to start with a conversation so we can get to know each other a little and I can listen to what is important to you both. It’s such an emotionally charged day, you want to know you’ve chosen the right photographer to share this with, someone you’re comfortable with and puts you at ease.
So do you want everything from getting ready through to dancing the night away or do you only require the ceremony, family & couple photos? Everyone is different and I am happy to work with you and your budget.
Is your wedding an elopement? Is it 3 hrs with 10 guests or 10 hrs with 250 guests? We accomodate for everyone, We have packages to suit whatever you need. Covering everything from digital files to beautiful heirloom albums and fine art prints. you can view samples here.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you travel?
Yes we travel to where ever you will take us! The usual radius is within 100km from the studio in Nowra, NSW Australia. Outside of this travel fees and accommodation are required. We’ve shot in Sydney, Bowral, the Blue Mountains & in Canberra, so travelling is not a problem. We’ve also shot internationally, so if your wedding is a bigger journey away no worries, let’s discuss travel details.
How soon should we book you?
We usually take bookings 12-18 months in advance so get in contact now to avoid missing out. 2020 is pretty full and 2021 is filling up fast. Fill in your details on the Contact page and send me your questions and I’ll be in touch within 24hrs (unless technology has failed us and then I’d suggest trying again!)
Once you have decided to book, a small non- refundable booking fee will secure your wedding date and then the planning begins!
We’re always available to meet up or arrange a video chat, so you can get to know us a little better.
How do we book you as our wedding photographer / videographer?
An online contract and a small booking fee to secure the date.
What time should we have the ceremony?
Totally up to you, it’s your day after all! Most couples choose 2:30pm in Winter, 3pm in Autumn, 3:30pm in Spring and 4pm in Summer. You want to allow about 2 hours of light for your photos after the ceremony.
Can you help us with our wedding timeline?
Yes we would love to! We will chat to you about your day and map out what to expect and how long things will take to allow enough time so you’re not rushed and don’t miss anything important.
Do you need a meal?
It’s always nice to be fed. If you have booked 6 hours or more then a meal for each hired staff would be greatly appreciated.
Do you photograph same sex couples?
Absolutely yes! Love is love, we are looking forward to meeting you both and capturing your story.
Can you help us with choosing other vendors?
Yes we have a recommended supplier list of people we have worked with who do amazing work. Just shoot through an email to receive this.
How long until our photos & video are ready?
You will receive a sneak peek of photos a few days after the wedding for you to share with family & friends on social media. Around the 6-7 week mark, you will receive the teaser trailer for your film. The full photographic collection and your films will be ready at around 8 weeks.
Do you offer albums?
Yes and we highly recommend getting one. They will become part of your family history and are guaranteed to last generations. All albums are custom made with superior quality to anything you can do online yourself. An album can be added to your gift registry, Guests can purchase a gift voucher online HERE or over the phone. They love giving you something so valuable & special. Or you can do a 12 month payment plan and have it arrive on your 1 year anniversary. You can view samples here
Do we need two photographers?
Not always but on some occasions it just isn’t possible for one photographer to be in two places at once. If both partners are getting ready at locations more than 30mins apart or you book more than 10 hours coverage than it is required. It is absolutely not necessary to book 2 photographers just because you are concerned about getting enough variety in your images. We are professionals and have the ability ninja all over the wedding!
Do we need to book a videographer as well as a photographer?
Completely up to you, you can book us individually or as a team. However it is really nice having two formats to relive the wedding day – and both are so different.
How do a photographer & videographer work together?
Cindy and Tom chose to work with one another because they share a relaxed, unobtrusive shooting style. We understand where each of us needs to be to make sure we’ve both got the shots we need without getting in each others way. Having a creative team that collaborates so well on the day is always a positive.
The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable and enjoy your amazing day. You’re in safe hands with us.
Will you dance with us at the end of the night?
YES! If we are booked until late then we will be on the dance floor with you before we head off.
How much do you charge?
